Created at the request of the parents of the Dream Project students, the Parent-in-Action training is a five-session course designed to help parents be more effective partners to their college-bound seniors. Through this program Dream Project brings in together parents of similar experiences to talk about the college application process, scholarship search as well as stress management techniques.

To achieve Dream Project brings experts from the following arenas:

  • College Admission/Financial Planning
  • Self Advocacy and College Transition
  • Community Resources
  • Legal Rights
  • Leadership Training
  • Mind, Body, and Spirit (FLOW) / Well-Being Plan/ Seasonal Goal
